We would like to introduce you shortly our speakers and the topics we shall address during the session.
Mrs. Carmen Sánchez Guevara is Associate Professor at Construction Department in the School of Architecture from the Technical University of Madrid (UPM). MSc Architecture and International PhD (2016). MSc in Bioclimatic Architecture in a Sustainable Environment (2008). Her research focuses on energy poverty from the right to habitability and thermal comfort perspective. She is currently the Principal Investigator of three European projects: EPIU, which is an Urban Innovative Action, COOLTORISE (H2020) and BUILDSPACE (HORIZON). She is also collaborating with the Energy Poverty HUB from the EC advising municipalities on energy poverty.
She will present the topic “COOLTORISE: Training and increasing of skills of EU citizens to fight summertime energy poverty”.
