Energy Center Sofia invites you to get acquainted with the initiative of the EU Energy Poverty Advisory Center and the procedure for applying for technical assistance by joining a webinar on topic “How to apply successfully in a few steps”
The mission of the EU Energy Poverty Advisory Center is to be a center of experience and expertise in the field of energy poverty in Europe. This goal is achieved by providing local authorities and civil society organizations with direct support, online training and research, and by building a network of cooperation from all countries interested in taking action to combat energy poverty in Europe.
The EU Energy Poverty Advisory Center initiative envisages to provide technical assistance to municipalities to develop plans, measures and projects against energy poverty. These measures may be part of a SECAP (Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plan) or an IDP (Integrated Development Planning), or may be added to such plans. These measures may also be activities provided for ongoing projects related to the fight against energy poverty.
The purpose of the webinar is to acquaint the municipalities with the types of support for which they can apply and the procedures for applying for technical assistance.
Municipalities can use the support of consultants when applying.
The webinar will take place on February 10, 2022. from 14:00 h EET and will last about 1 hour.
