Bulgarian stakeholders are warmly invited to visit a national conference which will address several climate and energy topics, with a session dedicated entirely to energy poverty. Cooltorise will be presented during this 2-day national event, and we expect to meet up many Bulgarian stakeholders initiating debates on topical issues like energy poverty, including summer energy poverty, active involvement and participation of women in the decision making process, policy improvement, synergies with other projects, and exchanges of good practices from remote EU regions.
The Association of Bulgarian Energy Agencies (ABEA) and the Association “Centre for Sustainability and Economic Growth” (CSEG) are organizing the XVI National Conference “Energy Efficiency and RES – The Challenges of Energy Transition and Energy Poverty” to be held on 29 and 30 November 2022 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Sofia.
Leading topics of the event will be:
– Financial instruments for energy efficiency in enterprises
– Solutions for decarbonisation and low-emission urban development
– Legislative aspects for the development of energy communities in the country and best practices in the EU
– Solutions for overcoming energy poverty

The format of the conference will allow for a discussion-interactive participation, enriched with the results of the implemented projects of the participating organizations.
The event will take place in two consecutive days (29.11 – 30.11.2022). There is a choice between online and in-person participation at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Sofia, for which seats are limited.
